In order to ensure the success of the planning process and implementation of the identified strategies, a wide variety of community stakeholders must be involved.  We would like thank all the volunteers (over 80 of them) that have participated in the Fall 2008 workgroup process and develped over 170 strategies for reducing our emissions. 

The Mayor’s  Burlington Sustainability Action Team  (BSAT), charged with ensuring that our government level strategies are implemented, will continue to work diligently over the years ahead.  It’s sister team, the Energy and Environmental Coordinating Committee (E2C2) will work on the implementation of the community level strategies.
